Linsey grew up with a passion for animals, with a keen interest in dogs. She was first introduced to dog training at 11 years old when she enrolled, Scruffy, her family dog in a local basic obedience class. A few years later she purchased a Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy, named Chessie. Linsey and Chessie went on to win several High in Trials with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and United Kennel Club (UKC), including a #2 Breed Ranking in "Front and Finish" magazine.
Later she began to develop an interest in the function of the muscle and structure of the dog. She wanted to help dogs that may be suffering from joint pain or feeling the stress of physically demanding, competitive dog sports. So in 2009, she reached out to Equissage, a leader in the industry for improving muscle tone in race horses and dogs, to obtain a certification in Canine Massage. She has continued her education in massage and stretching techniques and believes in the advantages of using massage in conjunction with veterinary care.
